Helping Children with Anxiety
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

IN THE LIFE

OF YOUR CHILD TODAY

IS OUR RESEARCH STUDY RIGHT FOR YOU?

Is your child a worrier? Is your teen hyper-sensitive in social situations? Does your loved one have difficulty separating from you? The Levine Lab together with the Youth Treatment and Evaluation of Anxiety and Mood Program at the Columbia University Medical Center are conducting a research study in which we offer children and adolescents with anxiety disorders an FDA approved medication called sertraline (also known as Zoloft). If your child is eligible, he or she may receive both a clinical evaluation and medication at no cost to you. Contact us to learn more.

LIVING WITH AN ANXIETY DISORDER

Think about a time when you were extremely worried about something or someone or that you were terribly nervous, like before an important exam. Now take this feeling and multiply it by 100 and make it a relentless, all-encompassing experience day in and day out. This is how someone with an anxiety disorder feels. From not being able to fall asleep at night because of constant worry to waking up in the morning with a knot in your stomach, and going through the day with constant angst, anxiety disorders are debilitating illnesses.
